Introduction to Journalism

Journalism students should exhibit strong writing, organizational, and editing skills. Students enrolling in the course will learn to publish a professional magazine, and should enjoy working as part of a team. They will write news articles, feature stories, sports stories, columns, and headlines. Students will also design layouts, and work as part of the team that edits and publishes the high school student magazine, The Akhbar. This course may be repeated for credit.
