AP Microeconomics is a year-long introductory college-level course that deeply focuses on the principles that apply to an economic system as a whole. The course places particular emphasis on the study of the nature and functions of product markets, supply and demand, the theory of consumer choice, production and costs, firm behavior and market structures, factor markets, market failure, and the role of government. Students enrolled will be required to take the College Board exam in May.
