Weight Training and Fitness is a course that is designed for students who are either already passionate about fitness or are interested in learning more about working out. The course teaches students how to safely and effectively design an individual fitness program, using class time as a means of application. The students will be introduced to a variety of training methods including circuit training, interval training, crossfit, and cardiovascular workouts. Students will also learn how to safely use the equipment in the weight room to enhance their workout programs and achieve their goals.
