Discrete Math and Applications is the study of various math topics that do not fall into the traditional mathematics curriculum. This course will not be focused on algebra skills. Topics include the mathematics of social choice (voting systems and fairness), management science (solving problems involving organizing and managing of complex activities),and probability and statistics (useful for all intended majors in university). Discrete Math and Applications is for all students, especially students focused on a liberal arts pathway.
