Individualized Science Studies explores a variety of topics about biological, chemical, physical, and earth and space sciences. Students are engaged through reading passages about science topics at their level, direct instruction, investigation and inquiry surrounding real-life problem solving, research projects, and hands-on experiments following the steps of the scientific method. Students work to develop their understanding of scientific methods, procedures, and topics, through a combination of the Next Generation Science Standards and individualized goals which modify the curriculum to meet their specific learning needs.
