Arabic/French/Spanish Intermediate Mid

The Intermediate Mid world language course continues to develop language proficiency in Arabic, French, or Spanish and promotes an understanding of these cultures. Students exchange information in spoken and written conversations on familiar topics and some researched topics and are able to create sentences and ask follow-up questions. They give presentations on researched topics using short paragraphs, often across various time frames. They identify the main idea and key information in short informational and fictional texts and conversations. Students recognize that significant differences in behaviors exist among cultures, use appropriate learned behaviors, and avoid socially unacceptable behavior.
