The purpose of MS Orchestra is to become a proficient performer and establish the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute in an ensemble. Students will perform in the Fall and Winter concerts with other Middle School ensembles. Students will learn lifelong skills; the persistence of mastering an instrument reinforces the ideals of hard work, dedication, and passion. Instruments included: violin, viola, cello, and bass. This course is designed for students who have completed a year in the Beginning Orchestra, or who have prior playing experience (as approved by the teacher).
