Maker Design Studio is an immersive experience in applying design thinking to real-world challenges. Students create physical exhibits for the Design Expo, encompassing BioDesign, Sustainable Design, Social Impact Design, and Wellness Design with a focus on the sustainability compass. This studio course fosters a hands-on approach to learning, where students engage in the design thinking process from empathy to ideation and from prototyping to testing, leading to the development of innovative, tangible solutions that they will present and defend.
Students can take this course both Semesters in Grade 7 and Grade 8, once the prerequisite has been fulfilled.
