Islamic education reinforces the essentials of the Islamic faith for Arab Muslims as well as traces the development of the Islamic civilization from the birth of Muhammad until the end of the 15th century. The course highlights the literary, artistic, legal, philosophical, and scientific traditions of Islamic civilization and focuses on learning and understanding lessons from Surahs and Ayats in the Quran, and from the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. The course includes recitation of selected Ayats (verses) from the Quran with Tajweed rules.
As per KHDA guidelines, this is a required course for all Emirati students, however, Islamic Education 7 is also open to all students as an elective.
