This course explores the fundamentals of acting and theater through three major units of study. Students learn the importance of the ensemble in theater, how to develop characters and relationships on stage, and the basics of theater production. Students will create, stage, and perform scripted pieces of theater. The course objective is that students gain confidence in themselves, discover the creativity in themselves and in others, and develop a lasting appreciation of theater.
