Prerequisite: At least one year of experience playing an instrument found in a traditional Concert Band
Band 7 continues principles learned in Band 6. Open to any Grade 7 student with at least one year of experience playing an instrument found in a traditional Concert Band. This ensemble provides exciting performance opportunities and lays a foundation of theoretical and historical knowledge in music. The class will perform three times per year during the Fall Concert, Pops Concert, and Spring Concert. Grade 7 students are also eligible to audition to participate in the AMIS European Honor Band as well as our local MESAC Junior Fine Arts Festival.
