The Intermediate Mid I world language course continues to develop language proficiency in Arabic/French/Spanish and understanding of these cultures around the world. Students exchange information in spoken and written conversations on familiar topics asking a variety of follow-up questions. They communicate about their lives, activities, events, and other social experiences using connected sentences. They identify the main idea and key information in short, straightforward informational and fictional texts. Students can compare products and practices related to everyday life and personal interests or studies in their own and other cultures.
