ASD strongly advocates for preventive medicine, especially in regard to child health and wellbeing. Remember that getting vaccinated is the best way to protect you and your family from the flu. All the expert authorities, including the Dubai Health Authority, the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Pediatrics strongly recommend getting the flu vaccine for everyone over 6 months of age by the end of October. Children 6 months to 8 years of age should receive two doses if this is the first time being vaccinated against influenza.
